Jackson ready to take Clarksville Academy Lady Cougars to next level

One of the primary reasons Wade White took over Clarksville Academy’s girls basketball program three years ago was to give it stability.

Now that White has accomplished his goal, he’s decided to step back and concentrate on coaching the Cougars baseball program.

White’s departure has allowed Jerome Jackson an opportunity to move from assistant to head man.

Jackson is now running Academy’s girls basketball program, which has struggled to find success.

“Right now the biggest thing is that we need to get these young ladies competing on a high level,” Jackson said. “I’m grateful for this opportunity, and I plan to make the most of it and it starts with our players playing at a high level.” More…
